There's mindfulness which is mostly about being in the moment instead of having your mind on the future, the past, the music on your morning commute. This is pretty standard stuff.

Meta is routinely practiced alongside mindfulness. It was explained to me that mindfulness gives you the clearness of thought and meta compliments it by making it more bearable.
