Oi mate pass dah gravy... ;)

Being brutally honest and having people with enough emotional maturity and decernment to respect that and recieve it without getting their knickers in a twist ;)

It used be your word was your honor, I say bring it back, insist on it to help each other achieve it. Even I need practise on that one :p

More wine please... thank you... :D

I agree. When you say "be honest," people still try to avoid offending you. Nobody likes to be real. And if you're offended by an honest opinion, you shouldn't have asked for it in the first place.

Totally agree with you, obviously one needs tact but we should never shy away from the truth of the matter and learn to enjoy it when we receive it; daily just practicing it as a skill.

This comes to mind; An athlete doesn’t just instantly run a couple of miles with ease or comfortability but gradually picks up endurance and stamina to handle the distance.

Assisted suicide.

What limits, if any, do you think should be imposed on that? For example, if an elderly person kept alive on machines should be allowed assisted suicide, should a middle-aged person with no family be allowed the same?

What about a drug addict?

I don't have an idea for all eventualities, but basically I'd limit only parents with kids not able to sustain themselves.

They should

should a middle-aged person with no family be allowed the same?

Yes

What about a drug addict?

Yes, but they'd have to be sober when agreeing.

What disturbs me most is people who try to kill themselves because of chronic pain or something and fail. Then they end up in a worse condition and face years of pain.

Geez that’s rough. People should accept their lot in life with grace. It just sounds like a cop out to me but I on the other hand believe my ticket is up when it’s up and I dont even want to be guilty of murdering myself.

Each to their own though.

More wine? lol

Tough.. I'm more the opposite. Things that are socially accepted that shouldn't be.

Like knocking on my door then expecting me to invite you in. You interrupted me.. Same with phone calls. You are disturbing me, dont act like I'm rude when I say I'll have to call you back in a few minutes when I'm done doing something.

edit: the only thing i can really think of is driving under or at the speed limit. Sometimes I'm not in a hurry and enjoy the break. People beep their horns or sometimes people riding with me will rip on me for driving like a grandma.

Man the phone calls.....swear you do one thing with insurance purchase and they are relentless....all the time.

The grandma driver thing, that’s me. Just let me drive, I’m going the speed limit.

What I don’t get is people that are like, “just let them hit you, it’ll be their fault!” Yeah, ok, but I need my car and don’t want to get hurt. It doesn’t matter who pays for it, I’ll be in some shit for a while.

Get a dog.

I don't really care about what's socially acceptable or not unless it has a negative effect on a person or a group, because then there is a reason for it not being socially acceptable.
