What else would they spend their money on besides bling and iPhones?
I was thinking about that too. On one hand, they do love anything that gives a chance for showing off and pea-cocking. On the other, their tastes are absolutely horrible, and many of the things they like are clownish.
In general, I think they spend profligately on the following:
- hoes
- rims
- sound systems
- chains
- sneakers
- clothes--note that this does not include belts
- alcohol
- illicit substances
Maybe we need to go talk to some hood rats for some market research. We could probably write up a report and sell it to an ad agency. Maybe call it something like A Survey of Male Urban Youth Consumer Preferences: Opportunities and Challenges
