Carlson is just trying to disavow any traces of libertarian leanings he once claimed to have. Attacking the Koch Brothers is his way of saying "see I'm a populist just like Trump."

Yes and no. I completely agree that what we see as Tucker is a character or farce, but he's going so far against the neocons that it has me confused. Who would fund him when he's attacks the largest party funders he somewhat used to relate to?

Libertarians would do well to realize that until we disassemble the welfare state, being for open borders is suicide.

Actually I think that both are achievable concurrently. If the government would allow and encourage charitable organizations to provide care for immigrants then the welfare state would be dealt a fairly huge blow. No one in the government has the courage to attempt this however, because it would show the massive mismanagement of funds that the bureaucrats have been responsible for.

Having charity do more is a great idea. We have a lot of people who are already citizens, on welfare, they can start with. Then we can worry about accepting immigrants.

As it turns out, the Kochs don’t have much in common with conservatives. They are in fact totally opposed to most conservative policy goals. The Kochs are libertarian ideologues. They’re passionate and inflexible about what they believe.

America First — the Kochs finds the very notion of that absurd, if not fascist.

And economic policy that seeks to strengthen families — the Kochs denounce that as quote, “crony capitalism” or picking winners and losers. They think it’s immoral, and they’ll tell you so.

Controlling our borders — the Kochs consider that racist. A few years ago, in fact, Bernie Sanders noted that the Koch brothers are far to the left of him on immigration, open borders quote, “That’s a Koch brothers’ proposal,” Bernie Sanders said, and he was right.

I dated a normie lefty girl once a long time ago who couldn't stop complaining about the Koch brothers simply because of their donations to elected Republicans.
