Seems like Voat may be down for a while. Reddit won't get my content ever again so I came here. Want to get a feel for the place before I make any actual submissions.
I get the rules here are different and I can abide by them and be respectful, but I wonder if they will allow the DIYGUNS sub here. Was really excited about that and now that I have everything (almost) I was so excited to get it started.
Anyways if you don't know me I was on Voat since almost the beginning. And stayed loyal to the platform. Yes I am a racist, but I had my reasons and yes I can contain my views within this platform.

We don't have any rules explicitly related to firearms, the topic was brought up when Reddit started to ban the gundeals stuff though. We are hosted in the US, and as far as I'm aware, there is no law that exists in the US that would prohibit this kind of sub. Broadly speaking, I think the only two instances in which a gun sub would be banned is if the sale of firearms was happening directly on the site, or if a violent use of firearms was being advocated. Outside of that, there is no issue from a US perspective. The only other thing that may apply here is this kind of content being illegal to view in other countries, which is an issue for the individual user residing in that country, not for Phuks.
