Seems like Voat may be down for a while. Reddit won't get my content ever again so I came here. Want to get a feel for the place before I make any actual submissions.
I get the rules here are different and I can abide by them and be respectful, but I wonder if they will allow the DIYGUNS sub here. Was really excited about that and now that I have everything (almost) I was so excited to get it started.
Anyways if you don't know me I was on Voat since almost the beginning. And stayed loyal to the platform. Yes I am a racist, but I had my reasons and yes I can contain my views within this platform.
Here is to hoping this place can make it longer.
You won't be able to make a sub until you are level 2, which is around 40 upvotes, it shouldn't take long. It's basically so we don't have a flood of new users mass creating subs on the first day of account creation without knowing anything about the site, then leaving them empty.
So far admin deletions have been a rarity to be honest, if that's what the sub is intended for then there's no issue.
Not sure on the exact number but we're in no danger of crashing at all as it stands.
