About three-fourths of people infected in a Massachusetts Covid-19 outbreak were fully vaccinated, according to new data published Friday by the CDC.
Meaning that the vaccine does not stop infection or spread. It does not.
The new data, published in the U.S. agency’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, also found that fully vaccinated people who get infected carry as much of the virus in their nose as unvaccinated people.
That means that they're every bit the little super-spreaders that unvaccinated people are and are contributing to mutations of the virus same as everyone else if not more since they're all acting like they won't catch or spread it. This also means that there will never be herd immunity. Ever.
with four of them ending up in the hospital
The vaccine is not the answer to this pandemic, only to people not dying.
The people who originally said "If it just saves one life" are now refusing to do that or are at least getting butthurt and blaming antivaxxers while refusing "the science" that the CDC has printed about how vaccinated (symptomatic or not) are cranking out just as many viral bodies as the unvaccinated. Unfortunately, it also tends to be the party of people who let their emotions led them above all else and they're just now getting a taste of what "the other side" said all along about having to do what is needed.
Sure, it can jump some species. Namely cats and bats. We don't have a lot of contact between people and bats and cats don't roam from house to house as often as people do. The incubation period is 2 to 10 days. Two to three weeks will shut it down.
Unfortunately, if it come from a democrat, republicans won't do it. And if it comes from a republican, democrats won't do it (unless it comes with a paycheck). What needs to happen is a joint statement from Biden AND Trump with a $2000 one time payment voucher (not cash) to be used for lockdown supplies and then strict enforcement because that it the only way it's going to happen.
