Wow dude. If this is in relation to you, sorry to hear. It obviously depends on how far along she is and how long you've been together.

But, if it were my wife, I would offer unwaveringly support. It's quite a battle and a lot of people make it through, which should give you hope. Also, she'll want to avoid sugar and carbs as cancer feeds on sugars. So you may want to adopt a keto diet to show your support and help her along.

Of course, you both need to do your research instead of taking medical advice from a guy like me.

Decide whether you have it in you to be that support figure now. If you do stick around don't puss out in the middle. If not, it's best to cut out now.

There are a lot of varieties of breast cancer, some are very easy to treat and unlikely to reappear, on the other hand some are very aggressive (it's an area where a lot of research has been done, that is pretty well funded). I would wait for a full diagnosis and doctor recommendation but it is likely that will not happen until a biopsy is done. If she has to have chemo it's important to remember those drugs really fuck with your hormones so there will be some big mood swings (it's something doctors don't mention, much). Any way just avoid shouting "I'm gonna fuck yer tits off!" during sex.

It's hard enough going through it (family member recently passed, and my friend is a survivor); and it'll take a HUGE toll on your relationship, but just remember she is going through a really hard time, and needs you.
