I can't think of a better place to put this, but I wanted to share that I am home again.
The ride home was torture and I am in an exceptional amount of pain. Ow!
Fortunately, I have an RN on duty and I have liquid dilaudid for breakthrough pain. Unfortunately, I get to pick my dosage (to some extent) and I opted for a minimal dose. It is a long story but let's just say that addiction is a major concern and I keep my dosing to a very minimal amount. (0.5 mg dilaudid by IV.)
That sounds sooooo cool! I'd be interested in seeing it myself as an old guy - LOL.
I've always wanted to write myself, which sounds strange coming from someone who spent a good portion of their life as a technical writer. But I have so little patience, I start all gunho, then fizzle quickly when doing memoir type stuff. I'm better at story telling one on one, or in short bursts. I suppose I could do short stories and compile them ... but there's also the lazy factor - LOL. Laziness, procrastination, and lack of patience don't add up to 'War and Peace'.
