I hung out with her off and on for a good 6 years, mostly because it was just always interesting and after the first month or so after she stopped trying to frisk me. The whole "get me pregnant so we have to go to vegas to get married" thing ended pretty quick and I just generally enjoyed having her over for sunday funday to tell me wild stories and we'd go play pool and get some wings. I think I only banged her that first month, just after that I had no interest (hotdog/hallway scenario) so I was fine just being friends with her after that. She recently coaxed some poor navy guy into marriage, he's in for a rude awakening when he comes back home and finds her xanaxed out of her mind on the sidewalk.

There are a lot of people who either have a breeding fetish or their wires are switched so that dangerous or risky scenarios are a turn on. In either case, they may be fun for a while but they're poorly suited for a reasonable long term relationship for most people.
Honestly, I'd rather have a friend that turns into a lover instead of the other way around. I don't like drama and have absolutely no problem cutting people out of my life no matter how difficult or crazy it gets to remove them. I've had several people removed by police because they thought their drama was more important than my house rules. I'll be patient with it for a bit because everyone gets a bad moment or can twitch once in a while but when it becomes obvious that they have more regard for what they have going on than the safety, peace, etc. of others, they are no longer welcome. Once you cross that line, the response is full-on, wide-open, and swift.

Honestly I prefer the other way around. Once things don't work out then friend circles get damaged and regular gatherings get disrupted because you don't want X and Y to be there at the same time. If you start out banging and then turn to friends then everything becomes a lot simpler. I lived with probably 6 different people during the time I was friends with that crazy girl and they all loved when I would have her over because the stories were never lame and no one was trying to bang her.
I just don't see how people could think being like that is even close to a reasonable life.
