That's the beauty of it right there. Vegetables are mostly water and soaking them in oil or salts just makes them greasy or tasteless to me. It might help to know I grew up on a farm and would often pick vegetables from the garden and give them a quick rinse under the tap and eat them raw like that.

but why settle for the boring old taste of veggies when you can be in flavor country?

is there anything special about the water? hot? cold? is it just extra moisture on a crisp salad? that can be good, but I wouldn't rate it above a dressing...
