Salad dressing is for people with an addiction to condiments.

If I'm at a salad bar, I do blue cheese. If I'm at home, just eating for the greens, I do balsamic.

Italian. It has little bits of vegetables, providing ever-so-slightly more nutrients, and looks less like bodily fluids than some other dressings. Or sometimes raspberry vinaigrette, which only looks kinda like blood.

This might seem like a troll but i really like water on my salad. There's even a name for it that I can't remember now.

is there anything special about the water? hot? cold? is it just extra moisture on a crisp salad? that can be good, but I wouldn't rate it above a dressing...

extra moisture on a crisp salad

That's the beauty of it right there. Vegetables are mostly water and soaking them in oil or salts just makes them greasy or tasteless to me. It might help to know I grew up on a farm and would often pick vegetables from the garden and give them a quick rinse under the tap and eat them raw like that.

yeah, i can understand that though the way you said it, i pictured a bowl salad soup lol

but why settle for the boring old taste of veggies when you can be in flavor country?

Ranch or Blue Cheese, due to their compatibility with the supreme vegetable, Broccoli.
