Sometimes with Munchausen syndrome by proxy, the symptoms are induced instead of lied about. But with it being a short(ish) period and not having any other abusive signs from your parents, it probably wasn't MSBP. Glad you got better before you could really remember being miserable.

When I was real young, my parents say I was pretty much always sick. They tried various things like hay fever and what not but their could never figure out what was wrong. Eventually, the doctor decided to do that test where they poke a bunch of needles in your back to see what I reacted to. It turned up nothing. Zilch. Nada.
As I got older, I stopped being sick all the time. These days I have the immune system of a champion, which is surprising because I'm kind of a drunk. I can honestly say that I have never had an allergic reaction to something.
