Yeah, number 4 is definitely a problem in the social media age. Corporate owned media on both the left and right have been shown to lie and be willfully dishonest by leaving things out of a story that give it context.

George Zimmerman's a complete jackass but everything in the video is factual and I'll find you multiple sources for any claim. The story was distorted the whole way through the trial for financial and political gain. Manufactured outrage is often their business model. The only way to come close to finding truth these days is to examine as much as you can then draw your own conclusions.
