On that subject! I leased some land and they built-to-order my second office - across the big ol' honkin' parking lot from an OTB place.

They served booze, food, had bowling, had an arcade with pinball, and had pool tables.

That may well have been the stupidest thing I've ever done.

Horse racing is kinda awesome. Does he prefer thoroughbreds or harness racing?

(To fuck with 'em, I'd call that 'chariot racing.' I even bought a riding crop and would go in and hoot and holler at the television screens while the races went off. Like I said, probably one of my dumbest ideas.)

Oh god, thoroughbred only. Once the harness races come on he starts betting Australia, Dubai or UK tracks instead depending on the time. We actuality live in walking distance of a well known track.

But yeah, opening an office across the street from an OTB party place like that sounds like a bad idea. At least it wasn't a strip club. I had a co-worker who used to go to those over lunch

The list of clients I've taken to OTB is long and extremely private!

Does he know how to read the race charts and stuff? I'm pretty sure I still have some race booklets in storage.

And, yeah... It was a horrible idea. I'm gonna guess you don't need details!

You have no idea how often I have to pick up and throw away pages of old racing forums around the place we rent together.

Yeah he knows every intricate detail of the forums, I do as well because of the occasional time I go to the track with him. I just looked over at him and he was going between a form printed out and also for another track online.

You really need like 4 hours of prep time studying those before the races start to get a good picture of what to bet.
