I see where you're coming from, I do. But this one small ABC affiliate doesn't have the responsibility to educate the public on this sort of thing. Sure, they could have given a better explanation. But 90% of the public would have skipped that part and just brush it off as techno babble. You can't really bring some one up to speed on the subject in such a short article. They're catering for clicks, to make a profit.
