I've been on this forum stuff for 20+ years. I've seen it all, been called everything in the book. Sticks and stones and all that. I have a pretty tough skin when it comes to people being unreasonably caustic.

They haven't done anything wrong in my eyes - and their willingness to have a sincere extended conversation even with you, is a pretty good sign of sincerity. If there's a spam associated limit with linking to a particular site too much, you could have briefly mentioned that to them.
