Who do I need to bribe to make my permanent "1" notification go away?

Mark as read usually does the trick.

Just go through and mark all as read, just in case. Maybe you already have, in which case I'm sorry they haven't fixed your bug yet =(

I have gone through all of my inboxes, clicked all as read where available. No button has a notification number on it, no messages are unread, all have a "read X days ago" lable.

Mark all as unread. Log out. Clear cookies, cache. Log back in. Mark all as unread.
