Trump's not President, and he didn't make this absurd announcement, so he doesn't get the blame. Any time the current President does something that sucks, the reply can't be "But Trump!" We need good leadership, period.
Incidentally, all the people and attention talking about how much Trump sucks got him elected. He thrives on controversy and attention. So if you think he's awful, the very best thing you should do is don't bring him up. Don't feed the trolls.

Agree. It was stupid then, and it's stupid now. Blaming everything on Obama was cringe, and it's sad to see the other "team" stoop to the same level of stupidity. I thought they claimed to be the enlightened and responsible ones? It just goes to show that most people really have no principles and will latch onto a criticism when it can be used against their enemies and defend piss when their "team" did it.
I'm inclined to label acknowledgement of coronavirus as mishandling.
