Saw a link on voat. Voat has turned into a bit of a shitpile that tears down nearly all communities. JustGrowIt is one of the few that has survived despite the negativity. I'm not too hip to reddit's censorship.

So what is this place about? What is the operational philosophy?

What is the operational philosophy?

No factions, or team voting.
All opinions are equally retarded.

hi, welcome. /s/justgrowit is here now.

operationally, we have 6 active admins in 6 timezones. Depending on who you talk to, some posts do get removed and are reee censorship, but really we're just tired of the whining and edginess on both sides. We started this place for us for fun. We pay all the bills and use no outside trackers or ads or sponsored posts.

poke around and let me know if you have any questions :)

"We pay all the bills,"...The 6 admins pay?

It's all donation based, but I was the first "donor" and paid out of my pocket for the first year. For the last year, we've been on others peoples' donations. We have about a year of hosting in reserve.

No phuks admins or devs are being paid for their time. All donations go straight to hosting and domain fees.

It's about sharing interesting links and having interesting discussions. That usually means accepting all positions and discussing the arguments of a topic.

If you want to share or discuss something only in an in-group, please do it in a sub dedicated to that.

Welcome I'm new but I think the philosophy is a sense of community and respecting others opinions. Also Broccoli vs Cabbage and what one is superior.
