Just a random idea I thought of this morning, but it might be neat if there was a little Phuks webstore where you could spend your "Phuks taken" on silly little things, like unlocking features you can use to gradually turn your user profile page into a classy MySpace page. You could even add some sort of monetization to this.
That would make the internet points on Phuks more valuable than the internet points you get on any other similar site!
I'm not sure, I kind of like it though. Like a micro-transaction game, you could sell phuks to give as well. Kind of like the reddit gold income scheme. You could give people a 10-pack of phuks (or 10 per $1 USD donated, round down) instead of "gold" Use those phuks to either upvote or downvote posts.
If you receive downvote, you lose a phuk to a minumum of 0.
If you receive an upvote, you gain a phuk.
Having no phuks means you can't upvote or downvote, so you need to stop being a dick and post good content or good comments.
This could run into the same problem of voat where you can no longer vote up/down because you hit a limit. Maybe give like 10 phuks a day to a maximum of 50 or so, daily phuks will not be given if your phuk balance is at or above 50; if you're between 40 and 50 phuks somewhere, your daily gives you the difference that day.
