I imagine its more work than it would be worth but it would be nice to have up to date headlines that match their stories. It would have to be optional and a record should probably be kept of past headlines so there isn't the old correcting the record going on (and its a shame archive doesn't have an api). But since you can grab headlines, have it do that automatically every hour or something for 24 hours or so.

I think the title grab is a nice feature, but 80% of the time you still need to alter the post title after it has been grabbed, like removing "- YouTube" from the end of YouTube links. I imagine it might consume resources too. 100 posts would be 2400 requests sent to various websites.

I'm on the fence about title changes in general. The only time I've ever needed to do it is if I made a typo, and if that happens I can just copy the post content then repost it with a fixed title.

https://phuks.co/s/News/15714 is what made me think of it, by two hours later it has much better headline that actually stated what was going on rather than that very vague original one although now it has changed again to a more vague headline so i suppose it would have to be on articles and not live-update kind of things like that.

but yeah, resources both man and machine make this probably not worth the bother.

Sure it would be a nice feature, but it's Phuks, not reuters.

but i imagine they want features that aren't available on reddit or voat. of course i have an overactive imagination.
