I don't give a damn. If you do, it's simple to just copy and paste the URL. If I'm doing anything where I'd be concerned about such a thing then I have other means of getting the job done.
Archive sites are slow and have rendering issues with pages, plus have trouble handling links on occasion. So no, I don't believe it should be standard practice.
