I'm more of a Nintendo kind of guy. My favorite video game that came out last year is Super Mario Odyssey.
Final Fantasy VII or IX, depending on the mood I'm in when you ask me.
Witcher 3.
Metal Gear Solid V.
Civilization V.
Shogun 2: Total War
Sins of a Solar Empire.
Those are the games that really butter my bread.
Out Of The Park Baseball 17, you get to play as a manager or general manager of any baseball team and can set lineups, determine budgets, trade players, give signals in game and whatever else you can imagine would go into doing those jobs.
Nobody note worthy. I had a tamer on Great Lakes, that was probably my most visible character. I ended up getting a couple hundred dollars for the account when I sold it. I don't really want to dox myself by naming characters.
I've got my best game memories with Chrono Trigger, Zelda: BotW, and Mega Man X.
I don't really like Splatoon 1 or 2 that much on their own, but my wife is really into Splatoon and they are pretty enjoyable playing with her. Splatoon has sort of a neat aesthetic that I appreciate as well. So I guess this is sort of on my list, though I wouldn't find myself recommending it to others.
Lately I've been playing Cave Story, which I'm enjoying a lot. Though I'm trying to cut down on video game time in favor of reading, with varying success.
The Sonic series, Undertale, Jet Set Radio Future, A Hat in Time
Also VA HALL-A and Doki Doki Literature Club, but that depends whether you consider visual novels to be games.
I've been playing a whole lot of Don't Starve Together, Drox Operative and Dungeon of the Endless.
I picked up Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 since I was a fan of the first game. It's quite nice. Recently, I've been playing My Time at Portia since I love games like Stardew Valley. Outside of that, a little bit of Heroes of the Storm with the girlfriend. We were enjoying Battlerite but quite frankly the playerbase is a bit too toxic and there aren't enough players for MMR to match us against players of appropriate skill-level.
It has been spintires: mud runner and fallout 4, but I dove back into the witcher 3 and have to call ot my favorite game. The gameplay is fun and the voice acting and quests leave me wanting to play "just 5 more minutes" when I want to go to sleep
