If you just said "steamed eggs" then people would probably assume poached ¯_(ツ)_/¯
The article itself talks about hard cooking eggs: it doesn't exactly roll of the tongue, but at least hard cooked steamed eggs or steaming your hard cooked eggs is less technically offensive.
You say 'potato', I say 'steamed hard boiled egg''
... I'm just going to go ahead and comment on the language failure: If you steam your eggs they're not boiled, and steaming a hard boiled egg is pretty ineffective.
