Speaking of greek yogurt, if you have cats that is the best treat in the world for them. Their poo smells less and they loooove it. I sit on the ground and eat from one side of a spoon and let them lick from the back side. Highly recommend sharing

Peter had a triple bypass and stents before we married. He needs to keep his cholesterol down. The pills helped lower it and I've been extremely strict about groceries and menus.
Now that I'm doing the cooking, I choose the ingredients for everything. I drop salt anytime it's possible and substitute low-fat greek yogurt and a little olive oil for butter (but not in everything - it doesn't always work out) and skim milk for regular milk. I've had to adjust amounts and experiment a bit, but most everything tastes alright.
If life ever returns to normal and staff can come back, cook will deal with it.
