the burden of proof is on the accuser (you) but i'll bite anyway.

one group is a violent majority in a country with hostile social relations with the US who generally have a very poor opinion of liberal politics.

the other is a violent minority in a country that has an oppressive ability to track and prevent communications with those whose governments or peoples are anti-US.

*just because they are both scary doesn't make them the same.

I don't know what you are referencing about the tracking and prevention of communication.

that sounds like a very comic book way of characterizing good and bad. if they were the same people, i'd expect communication and coordination, not a single general similarity.

It is a mentality and recourse that makes them the same. I did not mean that the Pakistanis were threatening the lives of the Carlson family..
