The original article is a shameless straw-man - rating standard electric vehicles for time-sensitive extended road trips is like explaining how your toothbrush took too long while scrubbing out your pig pen.

So you're agreeing that electric vehicles are sub-par and can't be relied upon for a typical vacation or road trip?

If 'typical' vacation or road trip means 'just like a petrol vehicle' then of course not. Battery tech and infrastructure has a way to go yet. Of course that has nothing to do with electric vehicles being 'sub par' in general. On balance I'd say they're already a better proposition than petrol vehicles, and of course they'll only get better.

I'll keep my gas car for now. It works and helps support the few remaining US oil companies, which were murdered by this retard government
