Highlights that I love:
About three-fourths of people infected in a Massachusetts Covid-19 outbreak were fully vaccinated, according to new data published Friday by the CDC.
Meaning that the vaccine does not stop infection or spread. It does not.
The new data, published in the U.S. agency’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, also found that fully vaccinated people who get infected carry as much of the virus in their nose as unvaccinated people.
That means that they're every bit the little super-spreaders that unvaccinated people are and are contributing to mutations of the virus same as everyone else if not more since they're all acting like they won't catch or spread it. This also means that there will never be herd immunity. Ever.
with four of them ending up in the hospital
The vaccine is not the answer to this pandemic, only to people not dying.
Well, let's see here.
Stop all international travel. That includes sneaking across the border.
That's a good start.
Mandate that all jobs that can be work from home are until further notice.
That'll help.
Any jobs that can't be WFH are now unemployed and get a social net with a requirement to find a WFH position if possible.
Stop all travel unless you're under an extremely small umbrella of reasons. Assisting family, providing absolutely mandatory services (grocery delivery, for example), and so on.
Oh, and every country on the world start coordinating on efforts because it's a world problem, not a country problem.
Doing all of that would stop this thing without any need for a vaccine.
But no one wants to do these things. No one wants to do the tough things that will fix the problem. They just want to go back to whatever lives they had as soon as possible without any discomfort or effort.
That means that we're in for a huge population culling because this is never going away otherwise.
