Digg was a pioneer in shedding 90% of its userbase in a single week. I think it was 2009 or 2010 when they released that redesign monstrosity and almost everyone seamlessly moved to reddit, which was still in it's younger days at the time.

I miss the days when Digg was first around. It was really good at the time, but they went full retard with their site redesign and made it so only a select few users could be visible. Reddit probably only got as large as it did because of that initial Digg migration.
