I feel this doesn't really fit the narrative we've been given. If the dude would've shut the fuck up and listened for a little bit then everything would've been fine. His mouth never stopped moving, he never stopped talking. He resisted every step of the way. He was unable to follow directions. It shouldn't have gone the way it did.

The officers should've tried to calm him down and tried to get him to stop talking like you would with an upset toddler. They needed to be in control of the situation and they tried to do it with words and physical force, and that wasn't the right approach. He devolved to a child-like state, but still had the body of a grown man.

He was saying he couldn't breathe as soon as the cuffs went on. He said it the whole time. It's a hard claim to take seriously in a situation like that. He wouldn't have ended up on the ground if he had just sat in the damn car instead of going through it. It's not particularly comfortable, but they were going to strap him in and even roll down the windows so he could've had more air. He would have been safe.

Everybody sucks here, it shouldn't have gone the way it did but it did.
