Overall, the process was pretty easy, with only one minor issue during the installation process. The hardest thing to get used to is the lack of Google apps and the fact that finding alternatives to your favorite apps can be difficult or full of malicious software. But I do enjoy having a phone completely devoid of Google Garbage.

I used to load ROMs almost every month on my HTC but bought a Galaxy S7. Fucking locked bootloader.

Yep. And I'm glad i avoided picking up a new Galaxy phone. Then again, I didn't care for curved glass or good mobile VR support.

That's why I made sure my new phone was compatible with LineageOS. My last phone was impossible to root and full if bloatware. And I am sick of rooting my phone just so I can delete a bunch of Google shit.
