I don't know if it's true either, nor at this point do I care. 2 plus years as a top ten contributor, ran and built up several subs, spent an eternity working with Cynabuns to clear spam, you name, I did everything I could to be a good goat and lend a hand where I could. But for nearly the past year the site has been going steadily downhill due to administrative neglect. It was obvious to most the regulars. So I began moving away some time back, posting both here and on Voat. Then came the shutdown ... followed by atko saving the day ... and not a word to any by way of a simple, short and sweet sticky from Putt to give even a cursory explanation. So, as I say, I may lurk just to see what's happening, but my time there posting is over. I never thought the day would come when I had to say that ... but such is life ... all good things come to an end.
BTW, if I ventured a guess I'd say Voat's days are numbered and most over there don't even realize it. If Putt can't post a simple sticky ... I'm certain nothing has changed ... and it's just a matter of time till it goes down again, with no one left to save it.

Well now cmod is globally banned.....don't think the original people who where admin are now. Something did happen, but peaceseeker is always there to cheer the admin on. Lol don't get how some people like that just never question a fucking thing.
I began to suspect something after the last hijacking of /niggers when that same person took over Chicago and admin never even acknowledged it.
It is why I could never admin a site like these. I don't tolerate shit and likely would just fan the flame with how I banned them all.
Supposedly, it's a pre-existing bug. Which is rather convenient.

You have always posted a great variety of informational, non-inflammatory content of general interest. Although I do like to keep abreast of current events and enjoy astute, informed political content, the level of extremism has gotten out of hand. And the level of juvenilistic discourse is boring and inept. The portion of your level of submissions is shrinking month by month and getting overwhelmed by attention-seeking, churlish prattle. I can't see my efforts at providing content there as viable for much longer. I have a large amount of information to preserve and hope it stays up long enough to retrieve it all. I am grateful you brought me here and look forward to an environment I can enjoy.
Same here ... I've been moving stuff I want to keep from my subs over here. And yes, it used to be that you could ignore the BS and just skim by it, now it's getting impossible to go a few posts without the childish crap. I'm just tired of fight the good fight that can't be won.

What I want to look for is any admin level vote manipulation. I'm guessing that would be undetectable. Voat would be a good platform to false consensus on.
