Control Panel>Programs>Turn Windows features on or off

Disable SMB1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support.

Restart potato.

I refuse to update Windows 8, so this is the best workaround. If you use 7, update it and then accept Microsoft as your overlord. If you use XP, kill yourself.

I use Windows and Linux for different things. Linux just doesn't have support for stuff I need, like gaming.

Then again, Windows doesn't have support for other stuff I need, which is why I use Linux. I use Windows for every day stuff though because it's easier.
