You can say whatever you want about the quarantine. It has been effective.
You can rail against the measures, but people who gather get sick. Science doesn't care if you get sick.

Sure, but that's our choice to make. The government has no right or responsibility to make that choice for us.
The government has the right and responsibility to take active measures to ensure public health and safety.
Any argument you make against that is you throwing a temper tantrum at being told to do something. Grow up.
If you decide you don't want to abide, then go isolate yourself. Sane individuals don't agree with you and don't want to risk their health based on your assurances of personal health.
You can choose not to wear a mask, but don't try to inflict your ideas on others who care for their well being. You may suffer a rude lesson.
The problem is, i could say much the same about Witmer's conduct (and most other governors, but she's among the most egregious).
Witmer's abuses can be roughly summed up as mass unlawful incarceration. The Warden of a state-wide prison, in which nobody was charged, tried, or convicted. They're following your same logic. "The armed ones should be put down".
The real problem is that they've lost faith that the system will work appropriately (as evidenced by her forging ahead even after her measures being ruled unconstitutional), and so concluded they are the only ones that can reliably play Judge, Jury, and Executioner.
