No. I mean the citizenship test. If you don’t know your government and country’s history, you have no business voting.

I'd be fine with requiring knowledge of the Constitution, specifically the first 3 articles and the Bill of Rights. I'm not sure our elected officials even know those parts sometimes.

But you have to know cursive to read the constitution and bill of rights! A lot of schools don't teach that anymore.

My wife commented about schools not teaching it the other day. The handwriting style my children are learning is actually almost a cursive precursor (if that makes sense) but their school doesn't take that next step and teach cursive. I grew up having to read my mom's chicken scratch cursive but I didn't like using cursive so I stopped writing with it.
