dont understand why people go there, they learned nothing from the iranian hostage crisis. the world is not ours to globetrot, anyone arrested or taken hostage there should be left to their own devices.

I would actually love to go there, I think it would offer a lot of insight and be completely surreal.

If you could do it safely, it would definitely be an interesting view into what effects a totalitarian society has on human beings.

Henry Rollins had a good bit in one of his spoken word things about visiting NK, think it is in this one somewhere but not sure.

I wonder how pissed off Dennis Rodman is going to be over the ban.

for a european its different, they havent been threatening to nuke europe for the last 20 years. i'd love to go there, i just think any american who does so is a fool for perpetuating the regime by just being there or, if they are arrested, whatever ransom or consessions it takes to get released.

Thousands of Americans have been going there year after year without much incident though haven't they?
