giveaway of the St. mary's of the Plains college library and scored a couple hundred titles
That's a phuk ton of free books!
I've been procrastinating on a couple books for decades now.
Yeah, it was quite a sweet score. Still pick up a title from that score I haven't touched yet every once in awhile (right now, actually, on Volume 2 of a 1936 4 volume biography of R.E. Lee that won the Pulitzer Prize!) But, that score has cost me a fortune! Once I got into book collecting and learning, I became a bit of a hoarder, and now own over 1000 history titles in my library.
I really need to catalog it all.
I always wanted to read the book after I found out I was living about 35 miles away from the site of the murders, but something always came before it, especially after I went to the giveaway of the St. mary's of the Plains college library and scored a couple hundred titles. Almost 20 years later, and I still haven't read it.
