I think sometimes we overestimate the military. Before this I would've imagined these things would have been scanned 100 different ways in a matter of minutes and either shot down or captured soon after, but here we are. Seems a bit suss they took so long to do what a couple of kids with slingshots could have done. Maybe this was some kind of reaction test.

Why would that even be a question? Restricted airspace violated -> BOOM -> Problem solved.
