I live in an area where their only predator is a car. They’re over populated in my city and I wish death on them and their flower and vegetable eating ways!

their flower and vegetable eating ways!

Ah, I think I see the source of conflict.
I've usually owned large hunter-cats when I lived around large populations of squirrels. So they've always been a source of entertainment, and never harm, for me.

I worked with a guy that did some gardening and had a squirrel problem. Every weekend he would live trap a few and take them out of the city.
But every week there were more. Someone told him it was the same squirrels coming back, but he denied it saying he took them too far for them to return.

The next weekend he started painting the tails pink before releasing them.
Soon his neighborhood was filled with pink-tailed squirrels. The little fuckers were making the long journey to come back.

lol. Pink toed squirrels.

They eat everything I grow and it’s infuriating. I spend more in keeping them out of my garden then the savings I get from my growing my own food. The trees around me are hundreds of years old and hide a large community of these little fuckers.

Get a barn cat.
It's been effective for me. Just make sure it's a killer. Most cats can learn to be hunters, but there are some that are too docile.

Bonus, if they're an outdoor hunter, and you have a garden, they will do most eating and shitting outside.
So, cheap and not much work for you.
Plus, free fertilizer in the crops :)
