In my experience most people either end up very similar to the type of people their parents were, or their opposites.
My daughter wasn't much like me when she was young. She was well behaved, good tempered, and intelligent. When she was a teen she rebelled against my legacy by getting good grades and not using drugs, and not getting arrested.
I'm not sure where she learned that kind of behaviour, but I can assure you it wasn't me.
Now that she's an adult, she is beginning to come around. Since university she has become less restrained. A touch of the wild, but fortunately not too much.
So what about your offspring? Are they like you or are they your nemesis?
If you don't have kits yet, are you like your parents?
You sound like you raised a good one. There's definitely opposition as they grow. My grand parents smoked indoors like chimneys and my mother and her 3 siblings hate cigarette and avoid it like the plague... sometimes being the bad one is a good thing. I smoke. so go figure...
