Churches that are often doing just fine..... There is a reason why there are so many pastors that drive sports cars. I would be a whole lot less jaded if most churches (based on my observations this is far from solid fact) used the bulk of those funds to actually give back to the community. It often gets used for less wholesome uses.

That sucks.
My parents have always had a strict philosophy of not giving me any financial support. They have no problem giving $10s of thousands to the churches, though.
