That's just jobes being wistful in Tlaib's case, and premature in Omar's.

Calling to deny access to American lawmakers into area's that the US has interest / dealings in = literally against freeze peach

Israel’s ambassador in the United States, Ron Dermer, had said last month Tlaib and Omar would be let in, out of respect for the U.S. Congress and the U.S.-Israeli relationship.

Tlaib and Omar have voiced support for the pro-Palestinian Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement. Under Israeli law, BDS backers can be denied entry to Israel.

Sounds like they were allowing the visit as a 'favor' we didn't ask for.

That's called a "curtsy".

Israel knows damn well presidents come and go and they are more dependent on congress. Getting congress riled against you could be a very expensive bill in the long term. And if anything Israel's biggest weakness is their absolute dependency on the US.
