Kiosks cost less after they’re paid off. Employees are required to wash hands, patrons aren't. Replace employees with customer facing kiosks = saved money.

Kiosks cost less over all period.

They don't require benefits, overtime pay or sick days. It's inevitable that this would happen regardless of the $15 an hour job.

Actually, this is England. Do you happen to know the going minimum wage in the UK?
