It's relevant because with this pic and the fire truck pic, you can see that the driver appears to have missed the turn and drove straight through the house.
My brother lived on a street where he witnessed a very similar thing, but the car in question was a fiberglass bodied Mustang, and it didn't hit the flimsy garage door, it hit the brick columns around the front porch and just crumpled. It took everything my brother had to keep the home owner from kicking the shit out of the idiot kid in the Mustang.
