It's relevant because with this pic and the fire truck pic, you can see that the driver appears to have missed the turn and drove straight through the house.
My brother lived on a street where he witnessed a very similar thing, but the car in question was a fiberglass bodied Mustang, and it didn't hit the flimsy garage door, it hit the brick columns around the front porch and just crumpled. It took everything my brother had to keep the home owner from kicking the shit out of the idiot kid in the Mustang.
I realllllllllllllllllly wish you have a video of that. can I send you money to buy your brother a pizza? I need to know more about this.
No video, but lots of "after" pictures, probably somewhere in the ether, but not sure where.
He, wife and a couple of drinking buddies were sitting in garage drinking and smoking cigs (never smoked in house, but garage was fair game.) Suddenly, hear a car engine screaming, assumed it was on main road 2 blocks away. Suddenly, they see the Mustang go flying by at 75-80 at least. Tires screech, then BAM! car hits brick. Brother only lived 4 houses from corner. This would have been 2011 or 2012, I would think.
I used to drive by a yard on a well-traveled rural two-lane road. There were signs telling people to slow down, and one sign with a running tally of how many cars ended up in the yard, and iirc there were a lot of trees.
police. dont know why this is relevant but ok. https://kek.gg/i/9yzKP.jpg
