Looking snazzy. If you want to hide some of the tool marks spray some flat black engine block paint into a rag and just wipe over the shiny spots to blend it. Good for hiding any accidental vice and tool marks etc and the paint is designed for high temps so it won't bake off easily throwing a lot of lead down range.

Yeah just be sure to remove any grease/oil/finger oils beforehand using engine degreaser or isopropyl alcohol (anything above 90% works great). It's usually not noticeable but if the flat black doesn't match closely enough I'll mix it w/ the tiniest bit of high temperature white paint to lighten it. Q-tips aren't just for ears :) Definitely wait till you've broken it in though. New guns are fun and generally get the heaviest use. At least that's the way I do it.
