Interesting, I don't think I've ever had a round fail to go off, and this is using the giant surplus "spam" cans with 40+ year old rounds. That is also part of what I love about it. It is so incredibly reliable. I've gotten sand in the receiver or my SKS and it still worked flawlessly. Meanwhile I've had plenty of jams in my western civilian calibers. It has me sold on Soviet gear for my doomsday arsenal.
