Well 2 of the major factors that drastically increase the likelihood of death from this respiratory disease are smoking and obesity:

Percent of men aged 18 and over who currently smoke cigarettes: 20.0% (2015-2017)

Percent of women aged 18 and over who currently smoke cigarettes: 12.8% (2015-2017)

Percent of men aged 20 and over with obesity: 37.5% (2013-2016)

Percent of women aged 20 and over with obesity: 56.1% (2013-2016)

There are plenty of other factors but obesity has been showing to be a major indicator of mortality risk.

I saw an article the other day that I can't find that said a woman with no underlying health conditions died from coronavirus. They had a picture of her, weighed probably 300 lbs. Wonderous reporting.
