Well 2 of the major factors that drastically increase the likelihood of death from this respiratory disease are smoking and obesity:
Percent of men aged 18 and over who currently smoke cigarettes: 20.0% (2015-2017)
Percent of women aged 18 and over who currently smoke cigarettes: 12.8% (2015-2017)
Percent of men aged 20 and over with obesity: 37.5% (2013-2016)
Percent of women aged 20 and over with obesity: 56.1% (2013-2016)

There are plenty of other factors but obesity has been showing to be a major indicator of mortality risk.
New Orleans for example:
I saw an article the other day that I can't find that said a woman with no underlying health conditions died from coronavirus. They had a picture of her, weighed probably 300 lbs. Wonderous reporting.
no underlying health conditions
no underlying
I'm pretty sure nothing could survive lying under her..
And the vast majority of cases are in the metro Detroit area....
